Thanks to Noah's Wish, My Wish Came True

I am happy to report that our cats were recovered yesterday from our home in New Orleans. All 3 kitties are just fine, and although we didn't get to speak with the rescuers, we did learn that we had little to no flooding in our home (no word on any structural damage). The cats have been placed in a foster home in Houma and are scared and frustrated but physically well.

As you can imagine, we were remarkably pleased to hear this news and are collectively breathing a sigh of relief to know that are cats are safe and being cared for.

We will be making a significant donation to Noah's Wish - the rescue organization that coordinated efforts and we would be extremely pleased if you find it in your hearts to consider a contribution.

Noah's Wish volunteers and staff members (as well as several other organizations including the Houma, Louisiana Humane Society) risked their own personal safety to attempt to rescue as many animals as possible. These courageous folks were willing to go where even the Red Cross team was reluctant to enter, and any support you can offer their organization will of course return to you tenfold.

More updates as the day unfolds, but for now - we wanted to let you all know this outstanding news. Thank you again for all the prayers and support you are continuing send our way !
